- Further ordinations planned for Switzerland
Zurich/Wettingen. When Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber conducts the divine service in the Trägerhardhalle in Wettingen on Sunday, 25 November, he will ordain the present District Elder Paul Imhof a Bishop. This morning District Apostle Armin Studer, who is responsible for the District Church of Switzerland, announced to his brethren in faith in a letter to the congregations that two further ordinations are planned.
Bishop Mark Fehlbaum (56) is to be ordained an Apostle. In addition, the current District Evangelist Jürg Zbinden (49), who works as project manager in the international Church office, will also be ordained to the Bishop ministry.
The incumbent Bishop Hans-Jörg Sigrist will be discharged into well-deserved retirement as he has reached the age limit.
