- Changes at the helm of NACI
The head office of the New Apostolic Church International (NACI) has a new managing director: Frank Stegmaier will take over from Erich Senn. A small farewell party was given at the seat of the international Church.
With Erich Senn (65), a leading and distinguished NACI employee is retiring. He was head of the international Church administration in Zurich for 14 years. His specialties were thought-out strategies, particularly in the Church’s project work and finances. Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider described him as an employee who always worked with a great deal of energy and dedicated commitment. “You had a keen eye on the future and you were always loyal in implementing the objectives set by the Church leadership,” the Church leader emphasised. In his many years with NACI, Erich Senn visited all the administration offices of the Regional Churches of the New Apostolic Church and created a viable information network, the Church leader said.
In response, Erich Senn said that he had had to learn to adjust to the needs of the Church leadership with a NACI team that was becoming smaller. What really impressed him above all, he said, was the beneficial effect of the voluntary character of the Church, and the volunteer work done in fulfilling the tasks set.
Supporting with God’s help
The successor as head of international administration is Frank Stegmaier (50). He is originally from Geislingen an der Steige, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, but has lived in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, for two years. “I am looking forward to the extended functions. My wish is to work together with the small but fine administrative team and with God’s help support the Chief Apostle in the best possible way in mastering all challenges together,” he said of his expectations.
Long-time employee Esther Weyermann also retired. Over the years, her work took her through various departments, from project work to data analysis. Chief Apostle Schneider described her as an eager, cheerful, and likable employee. She too, he said, was looking forward to taking things a little bit easier. He said that he was delighted for her and wished her all the best on behalf of the entire NACI team.
