- Congregation in Malaysia and Myanmar are waiting for the Chief Apostle
Zurich. From Thursday until Tuesday the international Church leader Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber will be visiting South East Asia. In Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) und Yangoon (Myanmar) he will celebrate three Divine Services. Also a meeting of all apostles and bishops is planned as well as many other different meetings. The programme is very intense.
Over the weekend Chief Apostle Leber will be visiting Malaysia and Myanmar. Myanmar, the former Birma (or Burma), is politically stable. District Apostle Urs Hebeisen, the leader of the New Apostolic Church in South East Asia, is quite happy to have the Chief Apostle also in this country for visiting the congregations. The schedule therefore is very intense: Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber together with District Apostle Armin Brinkmann from Germany will arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 3 pm on Friday. On Saturday morning a meeting with all apostles and bishops from the South East Asian region is scheduled at 10 am. In the afternoon the first Divine Service is planned on 5 pm. The Sunday Divine Service takes place in Hilton Ballroom on 10 am.
On the early Monday morning Chief Apostle Leber will head for Yangoon, in the Southern part of Myanmar, directly at the Gulf of Bengal. There, a Divine Service in the convention centre is planned at 5 pm.
On Tuesday the group will be leaving for Kula Lumpur again. And in the night Chief Apostle Leber will say good bye and take his plane for Amsterdam.
