God declares His love to every person: you are precious, you are wanted, you are My beloved child.

“God is love”. I must be honest: I had received the music programme before the service, but I had not realised that this would be your first song. And in the opening prayer, the Holy Spirit awakened thoughts concerning God’s love. It all fits together so beautifully now and shows how the Holy Spirit works. It is as if God wanted to tell us with special emphasis, “I am love.”

When someone is in love, they want that person to be there, to exist, to live, and be there with them. When I love someone, I want them to be happy and to find joy, and I will do everything I can to make that happen. When I love someone, I look at them, and think and say, “You are so precious.”

This is clearly what God wants to tell us. “I want,” God tells us, “for you to live, for you to be here, for you to be by My side.” And He tells us, “My child, you are so precious to Me.”
