Zurich. “One of the main tasks within the financial administration of the New Apostolic Church International (NACI) involves managing the financial balance between large and small - and strong and weak - District Churches, as well as the elaboration of financial strategies for a stable future.” So says Erich Senn, the managing director of NACI, with regard to the responsibilities of the new chief of financial services. At the beginning of March, Kurt Brenner (48), a proven financial expert, was enlisted to take on this demanding task.
NACI’s Service Management Group in charge of finance is also examining the various statutes of the international District Churches to ensure they coincide with national laws and international statutes. Kurt Brenner is thus also responsible for the legal concerns of the New Apostolic Church International.
Kurt Brenner was previously active as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the IT-industry. He is married and has two children.
Already in August 2008, the New Apostolic Church International published a job posting for this position, which received a response of 20 applications from various countries.
