- Chief Apostle regrets outbreak of war in Iraq!
Zurich. The head of the New Apostolic Church, Chief Apostle Richard Fehr, views the outbreak of war in Iraq with regret. He asks all New Apostolic Christians to pray for the victims and their relatives.
At the very beginning of the Divine Service at Cuxhaven's Kugelbake Hall the Chief Apostle commented briefly on current world affairs. The following is an excerpt from his statement: "I look upon this war with great regret. We want to stand by all of the victims as well as their relatives in prayer so that God's help will be given to them. Even in experiencing this, for us Jesus' words still apply: 'Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom'" (Luke 12:32).
