Zurich. Apostle Mwolansie Martino Mukenzi died on Sunday, 19 March 2023 as a result of a chronic illness. This was announced by the International Church President Jean-Luc Schneider in his latest circular. Apostle Mukenzi, who worked in the western part of the DR Congo, was only 53 years old.
Mwolansie Martino Mukenzi was born on 20 September 1969 in Sala, Bandundu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The whole family became New Apostolic in 1980. He was 11 years old at the time. On 1 January 1990 he was ordained into the Deacon ministry. Further ministerial levels followed and on 24 June 2013 he was ordained into the Apostle ministry.
Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider and the responsible District Apostle Michael Deppner describe Apostle Mukenzi as a “God-fearing man who served with dedication and love. He contributed significantly to establishing a firm base of faith in the congregations.”
In his circular to all the Apostles around the world, the Chief Apostle writes: “We gladly intercede in heartfelt prayer for the bereaved families, especially for his wife, Miriam, and for all those who suffer. May our heavenly Father give them much comfort, strength, and confidence in these difficult hours of parting.”
