- Berlin mourns the passing of Apostle Krack
The District Church of Northern and Eastern Germany has reacted with dismay to the sudden death of Apostle Thomas Krack (57). Last Sunday, he collapsed and died fifteen minutes before the start of the divine service.
Thomas Krack was born in Berlin on 16 July 1966. He was ordained as a Sub-deacon in December 1990 and served in various ministerial functions before he was ordained as an Apostle on 22 May 2022. He loved music and conducted various orchestras, including the Berlin School Choir.
After the merger of the District Church of Berlin-Brandenburg with Northern and Eastern Germany, he took on significant responsibilities in the field music. District Apostle Rüdiger Krause describes Apostle Krack as a very experienced minister who was always positive and who gave valuable impulses and suggestions for the entire working area.
In his obituary notice to all the Apostles worldwide, the Chief Apostle writes: “We gladly intercede in heartfelt prayer for the bereaved families, especially for his wife, his sons, his parents, and for all those who suffer. May our heavenly Father give them much comfort, strength, and confidence in these difficult hours of parting.”
