- Two successors ordained for one Apostle
Pedro Ramis and Omar Pablo Piñeyro were ordained as Apostles on 15 October 2023 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The previous working area of Apostle Jorge Luis Franco, whom Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider retired in the same divine service, was divided up. Both newly ordained Apostles will continue to practise their professions and will not work for the Church full-time.
Apostle Pedro Ramis
Apostle Pedro Ramis works as a sales manager. He was born in 1973. He and his wife, Juliana Fajouri, have three children. He received his first ministry on 15 March 1992 in Morón in Buenos Aires, where he lives with his family. Most recently, in 2019, District Apostle Enrique Minio assigned him as district rector.
Apostle Omar Pablo Piñeyro
Apostle Omar Pablo Piñeyro also lives in Buenos Aires. He was born there in 1969. He is married to Cecilia Zárate. The couple has one child. He received his first ministry on 8 May 1988 in Flores in Buenos Aires. In 2015 he was ordained as a Shepherd by his predecessor in the Apostle ministry. Since 2019 Omar Piñeyro has been serving as a deputy district rector. He works in administrative accounting.
