In a divine service in Lima, Peru, on 4 February, the Chief Apostle ordained Bishop Martin Tuesta Castro as an Apostle. Martin Tuesta was born in 1978, is married, and has two children. He received his first ministry in 2012 and was ordained a Bishop by District Apostle Leonard Kolb in 2016. He lives in a town in the Amazon region, which is centrally located in the area he will look after. He is self-employed and will continue to practise his profession. He will not work for the Church full-time.

Salvador Mitogo Obiang was also ordained an Apostle on 4 February. During his visit to Bata in Equatorial Guinea, District Apostle Michael Ehrich ordained the former Priest as an Apostle on behalf of the Chief Apostle. He succeeds Apostle Esono Aló Gonzalo, who retired after 29 years as an Apostle. Salvador Mitogo Obiang was born in 1990. The engineer is married and has one child. He was ordained a Deacon in 2015 and a Priest in 2016.

Helmut Hermann Kasper received the Apostle ministry from the hands of the Chief Apostle on 25 February in Hildesheim, Germany. He will take over the Berlin-Brandenburg Apostle area, which was left without an Apostle following the sudden death of Apostle Thomas Krack in August 2023. Helmut Kasper was born in 1967, is married, and has four children. He works as a senior government official. He received his first ministry in 1990. In 2013, District Apostle Wolfgang Nadolny ordained him as a District Elder.
