The New Apostolic Church Canada has a new District Apostle Helper. The assignment will ensure a smooth leadership transition in the working area, which also includes countries in Africa and Asia.
“We have to prepare the future for the Church in Canada and all the countries where District Apostle Mark Woll is working. And that is why we have decided to assign a Helper today.” This is how Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider introduced the assignment during a divine service in San Francisco (USA) on 13 October 2024.
“It is not an easy task, but you accept it in faith and out of love,” he said to Apostle Arnaud Martig. “Trust God. What you cannot do, He will do.” The new District Apostle Helper was born in France in 1971. He and his wife have lived in Canada since 1998. In addition to French, he also speaks English, German, and Spanish.
Arnaud Martig received his first ministry in 1998 at which time he was ordained a Deacon, and his most recent ordination as an Apostle was in 2020. Since then he has worked in Eastern Canada, the Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Chad, and the Central African Republic. Now the rest of Canada, Bangladesh, India, Cambodia, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka have been added.
