- New Apostles for Africa
A total of six new Apostles have been ordained for Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and Kenya over the past three months.
On behalf of the Chief Apostle, District Apostle Michael Ehrich ordained Emmanuel Adeyemi as an Apostle for Nigeria on 18 December 2024 in Abuja. Emmanuel Adeyemi was born in 1980 and most recently served as a Shepherd. He was ordained as a Deacon in 1999. He is an engineer, is married, and has three children. He speaks Yoruba and English.
District Apostle Mark Woll ordained two new Apostles for the Republic of the Congo on 26 January 2025, also on behalf of the Chief Apostle. Hermann Davy Kitsoukou Mouloumbou, born in 1980, was ordained as a Deacon in 2003. He had last served as a District Evangelist. He works as an administrator, is married, and has four children. In addition to French, he also speaks Lingala and Kituba. He will be responsible for the Brazzaville Apostle district.
Evariste Gaëtan Massamba, who had served as a Bishop most recently, was born in 1970 and became New Apostolic at the age of 18. He was ordained as a Deacon a year later. He works as a managing director, is married, and has one child. He speaks French and English and is responsible for the Dolisie area.
Johnson Turyahabwe received the Apostle ministry on 31 January 2025 in Uganda. He was born in 1984 and has been a minister in the New Apostolic Church since 2001. Most recently, he served as a District Evangelist. He is a businessman, is married, and has five children. In addition to his mother tongue Lukiga, he also speaks English.
Kenya received two new Apostles on 2 February 2025. Hillary Mutembei Ithalii is now responsible for the Mount Kenya North area. He was born in 1993 and became New Apostolic at the age of five. He was ordained as a Deacon in 2019 and later served as a Priest. He is a teacher, is married, and has one child. In addition to his mother tongue Kimeru he also speaks English.
Johnson Kyalo Musumbi, who most recently served as a Bishop, is responsible for the Kenya South-East region. He was born in 1977 and became New Apostolic in 1995. He was ordained a Priest in 1998, his first ministry. He has a metal fabricating business, is married, and has six children. He speaks Kamba and English.
