- Central America gets its own Apostle
With immediate effect, the countries of Central America will be cared for by an Apostle who lives in the region: Jesús Ernesto Rangel Aguilar from Panama was ordained on 16 February 2025.
Jesús Aguilar was born in Panama in 1972 and became New Apostolic in 1981. He received his first ministry, the Deacon ministry, in 1995. Since September 2021 he has served as a Bishop. Jesús Ernesto Rangel Aguilar is married and father of one child. He speaks Spanish and English.
His working area includes Panama, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. After Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Colombia, all Latin American countries in the working area of District Apostle John Schnabel (USA) are now served by Apostles from the region.
