- Two new Apostles for Germany
Mike Dietel and Daniel Habich succeed long-serving ministers and were ordained in the first quarter of the year.
The District Apostle Area Northern and Eastern Germany has a new Apostle. Bishop Mike Dietel (born 1970) follows in the footsteps of Apostle Ralph Wittich. On Sunday, 22 February 2026, he was ordained into the ministry by Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider in Plauen. Apostle Dietel was baptised and sealed in 1970. He received his first ministry as a Deacon in 2001. He is married with two children and works as in business administration.
In the District Apostle Area of Southern Germany, Daniel Habich (born 1981) succeeded Apostle Martin Rheinberger, who was appointed District Apostle Helper last year. The Chief Apostle performed the ordination on 15 March 2026 in Kirchheim/Teck. Apostle Habich was baptised and sealed in 1981 and received his first ministry as a Deacon in 2005. He is married, has two children, and runs his own company. He speaks both German and English.
