- Newsflash from Stuttgart: Wilhelm Leber will become the new chief apostle!
Stuttgart. Dr. Wilhelm Leber, hitherto district apostle in Northern Germany, will succeed Chief Apostle Richard Fehr, and so become the new chief apostle of the New Apostolic Church.
At the beginning of the International Apostle Meeting in Stuttgart, to which all active apostles of the New Apostolic Church around the world have been invited, Chief Apostle Richard Fehr expressed emotional words with regard to the question of his succession. After much prayer and years of observation, the name of his successor became clearer and clearer, said Chief Apostle Richard Fehr, who will retire this Sunday after 17 years of ministerial activity as leader of the New Apostolic Church International.
District Apostle Wilhelm Leber is 57 years old and lives in Hamburg.
Further news will be published on Sunday.
