- A traffic fatality
Zurich/Macogo Village. The District Church of Kenya is reporting that there has been a fatal traffic accident: Apostle Patrick Baridi Otuo (63) unexpectedly passed into the beyond following an automobile accident on Wednesday, 11 October 2017.
“We will miss him greatly,” writes District Apostle Joseph Ekhuya in his letter of condolence. He will personally conduct the funeral service on Saturday, 11 November 2017 in the Apostle’s home town of Macogo Village.
From the Apostle’s life
Patrick Baridi Otuo was born on 16 April 1954 in Central Gem, Siaya. He became acquainted with the New Apostolic Church at the age of 34, and was baptised and sealed on 10 April 1988. In 1993 he was ordained to the Deacon ministry, and then to other ministerial levels in the ensuing years. When Chief Apostle Schneider visited the congregation in Thika on 30 June 2017, he ordained Bishop Otuo to the Apostle ministry.
Heartfelt sympathy
District Apostle Ekhuya writes as follows concerning his fellow Apostle: “Apostle Otuo was a genuine servant of God, very precise in making decisions, and a passionate worker for God. He built up new congregations and introduced new life wherever it was needed. We will miss him greatly.”
The departed Apostle is survived by his wife and six children. We extend our special and heartfelt sympathies to the family and all the bereaved.
