- One apostle – three bishops in South East Africa
Johannesburg/Zurich. Chief Apostle Helper Schneider arrived in Johannesburg on Tuesday evening, 19 March 2013. He, together with District Apostle Mkhwanazi, 5 apostles, 12 bishops together with their wives travelled to Polokwane to conduct a divine service for the Limpopo province, bishop area. Members from across the province travelled by bus and car to attend this festive divine service wherein over 1100 members could participate. The Chief Apostle Helper called Apostles Dimba, Joubert and District Apostle Mkhwanazi to serve along during the divine service.
During the afternoon the Chief Apostle Helper and his guests visited the Polokwane game park and also stopped to visit the lion facility where he personally interacted with some of them.
The Chief Apostle Helper and his guests travelled back to Johannesburg and on Saturday afternoon, 23 March 2013 at 17hh00, they attended a choral concert at the VodaDome, Vodaworld Complex, in Midrand Johannesburg, where our choral choir, orchestra and Sunday school choir entertained the audience with some beautiful musical renditions.
Divine Service on Palm Sunday
The final event for this visit was a divine service conducted in Dinwiddie on Palm Sunday, 24 March 2013. This divine service was audio-visually transmitted to our entire district church, which includes the South Eastern provinces of South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Madagascar and the Indian Ocean Islands. The Chief Apostle Helper called the Apostles Munguambe and Page to serve along during this divine service and also ordained one apostle and two bishops for Madagascar and one bishop for Mpumalanga in South Africa.
