- Change in the chairmanship of the Coordination Group
Zurich. “Nothing is more constant than change” - it was with this well known saying that Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber discharged the hitherto chairman of the Coordination Group (CG) - District Apostle Armin Studer from Switzerland - of his duties with this Church body. From now on District Apostle Wilfried Klingler from Hannover will chair the Coordination Group.
The Swiss District Apostle had been a member of the CG for seven years, the last three of which he served as chairman. Over this period he attended some 50 sessions that dealt with around 3,000 different agenda items. In his address Chief Apostle Leber thanked him for his special dedication and honoured him as a circumspect, goal-oriented, and honest fellow worker. The Chief Apostle noted that, since District Apostle Studer speaks several languages, our members who do not speak German had always had a special advocate in him.
District Apostle Wilfried Klingler will now take over as chairman of the CG. He has already been a member of the group for three years. District Apostle Wolfgang Nadolny from Berlin will now join District Apostle Helper Urs Hebeisen (Philippines) and District Evangelist Jürg Zbinden (NACI), as the group’s newest member.
