The way we perceive time is sometimes very strange: sometimes it seems to fly, other times it seems to take forever.

It is the same thing when the Lord says, “Behold, I am coming quickly!” Sometimes it feels as though we have been waiting for centuries and He just never comes. That is one side. I am quite sure, however, that when He does come, we will notice that it was sooner than we expected after all. And why?

Because we did not have enough time to prepare ourselves and become what we should be when Christ returns. And then we will be grateful. After all, we were not ready. We did not have enough time to become as perfect as we should have been.

Jesus will come. He promised. And when He does come, we will realise that it was sooner than expected, in fact, actually too soon. Thank God, He will accept us in grace. I am coming soon.
