If it can be expected that divine services with dispensation of sacraments will not take place over a longer period, and that only word services can be held by a Deacon, there is an opportunity for Holy Communion to be taken at appropriate intervals. Since a priestly minister is not present, members can only receive and partake of previously consecrated communion wafers.
