4.6.2 Word service in which Holy Communion can be taken
If it can be expected that divine services with dispensation of sacraments will not take place over a longer period, and that only word services can be held by a Deacon, there is an opportunity for Holy Communion to be taken at appropriate intervals. Since a priestly minister is not present, members can only receive and partake of previously consecrated communion wafers. Further information can be found under “Prayer service in which Holy Communion can be taken“.[37]
